3-6. veebruar 2009 toimub Moskva riiklikus ülikoolis XLII tektooniline konverents

2007-2008 aasta on polaaraasta ja seoses selle lõppemisega toimub 3-6. veebruar 2009 tektooniline konverents "Maa polaaralade geoloogia".

Suurepärane võimalus kuulata 4 päeva ettekandeid ja laiendada silmaringi seoses tektoonikaga.

Noorte infomess "Teeviit 2008"

Teeviit toimus 4.-6.detsember 2008 Eesti Näituste Messikeskuses.

Igal aastal toimuva messi eesmärk on pakkuda noortele võimalikult palju informatsiooni õppimise, vaba aja veetmise, tööhõive ja kõige muu kohta, mis puudutab tulevase elu planeerimist. Samuti pakkuda noortega tegelevatele inimestele informatsiooni koolituse, metoodilise materjali, raamatute ja kõige muu kohta, mis aitab tööd huvitavamaks ja sisukamaks teha.



Tallinna Tehnikaülikoolil oli väljas oma infoboks, esindatud olid teaduskonnad ja kolledžid.
Energeetikateaduskonna infolauas tutvustasid geotehnoloogiat Mäeinstituudi assistent Veiko Karu ja spetsialist Märt Saum.
