In 1994, the Gold Committee of the Mining, Oil and Energy National Society of Peru, led by a group of mining companies with great vision and motivated by the interest of achieving that our country took the lead in encouraging the development of mining activities, confident of reaching the necessary growth to be considered amongst the major gold producers in the world, propitiated the organization of the PERU: First International Gold Symposium.

The International Gold Symposium has established itself as one of the most important events in the gold sector. This tenth edition will take place in Lima from May 14th. through 16th. 2012 at The Westin Lima Hotel & Convention Center.
