Conference

Eurodoc Annual Conference and Annual General Meeting will take place in Krakow, Poland from March 20th till 25th 2012. The event is organised by the National Representation of PhD Candidates in Poland (Krajowa Reprezentacja Doktorantów). The key theme of the conference is “Funding – how to acquire scientific grants”. The relevance and importance of Eurodoc and the community it represents is emphasized by increasing recognition of young researchers as core stakeholders and partners in policy debates. Considering the actions taken by the Council at the national and European level during the last few years, our participation is expected to rise significantly in the near future.

The focus of this years’ symposium AIMS 2012 is on rockbolting and rock mechanics in mining, incorporating all of the latest developments in the fields of

·         Rockbolting and Support Systems,

·         Injection Technology,

·         Rock Mechanics,

·         Monitoring,

·         Operational Experiences and

·         Machinery and Equipment.

Since the first AIMS conference on Rockbolting in Mining in the year 1987, the symposium has become a regular meeting of international ground control and rockbolting experts. We expect approximately 350 delegates from all over the world, so you can look forward to meeting senior representatives and decision makers of governments, industry, research institutions, investment communities, suppliers of the minerals and mining industry and related fields.
